STIJL

The STIJL, a nationwide creative fair in Germany serving as a platform primarily for young creatives, gave us the opportunity to participate in the events in Cologne, Frankfurt, and Mainz. As part of the fairs, we offered open workshops, allowing participants to actively engage with our designs. At each of the fairs, we showcased custom-made Alu-Dibond installations and focused on creatively and innovatively redesigning the “STIJLLACKS” lettering, which symbolizes our collaboration with the fair.

Participants first experimented with spray cans on practice surfaces before expressing their creativity on the main design under our guidance. Colors and areas were roughly predefined, while patterns, structures, and shapes were selected by the participants themselves. We completed the contours and details of the final artwork.

In Mainz, we also held a workshop, but the main design was executed independently by us in parallel. Here, we installed several Alu-Dibond panels on a 4 x 4 meter framework. This special format, a striking surface directly at the main entrance of the fair, brought us great joy in its creation.

The colors of all three designs were inspired by the corporate design of STIJL, which, unfortunately, held its last event in 2023 after 14 years.
